--- Regulation of software (and knowledge)
Interestingly, I'd say, normally something in between of being regulated, under full control,
and freedom, unregulated, is the best.
Pure capitalism doesn't work that well, communism neither.
With software - there seems to be a growing problem.
If it would be completely free, as, say, historical knowledge (despite of practical
complications..) - there wouldn't be a problem.
If the development of software would be completely controlled, there wouldn't be a problem, either.
Albite we would need to resort to some sort of microsoft mobile, which would nearly for sure
possibly be able to do sms - sometimes.
However, there seems to be a growing problem with the neither nor.
Some people earn profits, also by suing others.
Possibly this whole opensource culture really means a step of evolution.
And it's uncertain, whether we are going to take the step.
If h8umanity doesn't kill itself with idiotic and dangerous experiments before.
To me, genetics is the most dangerous technic, ever developed.
We know all sorts of unexpected bugs in software.
it is simply impossible to predict everything.
However, software is a simple system, compared to nature.
So - someone developed a "new Hefe". Half of its dna has been technically designed.
Who the fuck is sure, there aren't unexpected sideeffects??
Maybe, the yeast is now able to digest meat, instead of sugar only.
Or will develop soon to something like this.
Not to forget, yeast is a lifeform, everywhere present.
Just leave some juice somewhere, it will start to get alcoholic,
transformed by yeast.
So. Great. Great idea, uh, doesn;t matter, yes there might be bugs,
but we have to sell something. Or need to publish something for the scientific 'progress'.
Now.
This will not work out. Contest is only one part of evolution.
Now one knows, why there is something like evolution at all.
An noone will find out, it is impossible to understand a system
out of itself.
This is the reason, why Darwin is only partially right.
But he also didn't try to understand the fundaments of his theory.
Admittedly, there's also no reason to do so -
Science always works within its frame. Only.
However, the strongest lifeform will survive - humans aren't the strongest
lifeform, not at all.
Even stronger than life might be the opposite, the entrophy.
Strange enough, there is something.
